Thank you for visiting Progress Industries and for your interest in our organization. Progress Industries is a private non profit organization that provides residential and vocational services for people with various disabilities. Since its inception in 1979, Progress Industries has experienced rapid growth and constant change. This growth and change results from increased need in our community for services such as Progress Industries. We are committed to providing people with disabilities the opportunities to live and work in our communities as independently as possible.

There are many groups and individuals who have taken an interest and active role in advocating for those we serve with special needs. We are fortunate to have qualified staff members committed to our mission and a Board of Directors that governs our operations to ensure that the services we provide are of highest quality.

Progress Industries takes seriously its responsibility to funding sources to offer good value for the many services supported by taxpayers in our primary counties. We are committed to working cooperatively with county officials to ensure accountability for the funds entrusted to us.

Our donors "make a difference" by helping us grow the P.I. Foundation "to secure Progress Industries’ future." Individuals, businesses, churches, and foundations allow us to supplement government funding sources in specific areas determined by the governing bodies.

Vocational Training: Many local businesses provide employment opportunities to people with disabilities through individual job placements and small work groups known as work enclaves. Other businesses provide contract work for our facility based employment program that provides real jobs for people with disabilities. Businesses have learned that people with disabilities make quality employees. Progress Industries has an exceptional track record in helping people with disabilities transition from tax-supported to tax-paying citizens. Progress Industries is committed to providing local businesses with high quality, cost-effective products on contract work, and providing support in assisting people to learn jobs in the community.

Residential Training: Progress Industries provides residential living opportunities for people with special needs by offering independent and semi-independent living arrangements in homes and apartments scattered throughout our communities.

Together, we can truly make a difference and change the world for people with disabilities.
