Progress Industries provides residential and vocational services to enable people with disabilities to improve their work skills for greater independence.

Pre-Vocational Work Services: Progress Industries provides work training to enable individuals with disabilities to develop work habits and skills to obtain community employment. People enrolled in the Pre-Vocational Work Services program are expected to work to improve their skills through paid work and unpaid work training curriculum to transition into community employment or increased self-sufficiency.

Work assignments in these programs vary in nature. Most jobs are bench work, simple assembly jobs to more complex packaging operations. Production quantities are recorded and each individual is paid according to the percent of industrial standard.

Pre-Vocational Work Services are provided Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The length of scheduled days may vary according to fluctuations in work available. Supervision ranges from 1:1 to 1:15 (staff: individual served ratio) according to the percent of industrial standard.

Supported Employment Program: The Supported Employment Program is designed to assist individuals in preparing for and obtaining community employment. This is accomplished by working with a Progress Industries Employment Consultant learning job seeking skills that includes resume development, interview skills, community job site assessments and community work experiences to determine a good job match.
